Jil Sander Skirts

Has anyone out there seen the Jil Sander skirts that seem to be popping up everywhere in Hollywood? I keep seeing images of them on blogs, online and in magazines and can't get enough! I know I just did a post about long skirts but I am so excited about the feminine options that are popping up for spring!! Here are some of my favorite looks from this fabulous collection:

Here is the pale green version on the runway and the adorable Kate Bosworth wearing the same look (exactly the same actually!)

This next photo is one of my favorites. The color looks stunning on the model but I was surprised at how the dress transferred so beautifully to Drew Barrymore (who's style is not usually the best). Check it out -

Now, if only the weather would cooperate, I don't know about you but I can't WAIT to wear some of these beautiful colors this spring! Bring on the color blocking!

Feminine Fashion

There is such a fun joy being able to dress like 'a girl.' I love this trending look of the full skirt. It is figure flattering, romantic and you don't have to spend a fortune to find some good looks. Here are some great options that I found online.
Love Moschino - Yoox
Marni 3/4 length skirt - Yoox
Just Cavalli
Ivan Grundal
Byblos - Yoox

Staring at Stars Constellation Linen Skirt - Urban Outfitters
To make sure that you don't look frumpy in these skirts, always where sky high heels (no kitten heels, flats or boots). Also, I think 'go big or go home' with the feminine look so feel free to pair it with a pretty cardigan, embellished top or pretty sweater tucked in (to show your shape). Top it off with some delicate jewelry and a pretty clutch.

Here are a couple of stylish ladies that have inspired me and totally rocked this look:
Alli Calhoun

Betty Draper

Golden Globes Fashion Faves

I must admit I only watch award shows for the fashion. Once the show begins, I pretty much tune out. This year, I thought there was some gorgeous gowns in some very unexpected colors - like emerald green. Hmmm, I still don't know what I think of that phenomenon.  But, here are a few of my favorites from the night.  What were yours?

Emma Stone - Calvin Klein - Van Cleef & Arpels - Bulgari - Salvatore Ferragamo - Golden Globes 2011
Emma Stone - Calvin Klein Collection
This look was my absolute FAVORITE! She looks stunning

Olivia Wilde - Marchesa - Christian Louboutin - Tiffany and Co. - Golden Globes 2011

Jane Austen Test Shoot with Melissa Oholendt Photography

"Nobody minds having what is too good for them" Jane Austen

I LOVED doing this test shoot for the newly revamped Melissa Oholendt Photography. This was our first opportunity to collaborate and we had so much fun! Melissa's vision for the shoot was to reflect the style of Jane Austen; the romance, the feminine details and the picturesque nature of all that is Jane Austen. I think we did pretty good! Hope you enjoy!
